What is not publishedthe gaps we looked for and did not find
Air Ecology carries one described method and nothing measured. Every pod is heated by its own pellet stove, a combustion source inside the guest envelope, and all bathrooms carry electric heating; the property also lists a Swiss candle brand, HelloCandle, among the partner products available in its rooms and shop. Neither is credited as air evidence. No filter grade, air change rate, or carbon dioxide, particulate or volatile organic compound reading is published, and no mould inspection or remediation protocol appears on the site. The concept page does describe continuous air circulation inside the domes, but it sits under an energy efficiency heading beside a figure of about 30 percent lower heating and cooling energy than a conventional building, so it measures energy rather than air. On water, spring water is named as the supply to the cabins and as an amenity in the pods, and Gjosa shower heads are named in every pod equipment list, but they are published as an efficient fitting and no filtration, treatment train or laboratory panel is published. The spa lists a sauna, a Scandinavian bath, an ice room and a cold shower with no water chemistry or sanitation method. On light, an evening lighting limitation to reduce light pollution is described on the property's home page, which is not cited here as a source path, and it names no fixture, control or measurement; colour temperature, flicker performance and blackout provision are not published. EMF Harmony has nothing that scores. The FAQ answers whether there is WiFi in a pod by listing where it is found, including the Deluxe pods, the suites and the chalets, and the Suite Zen and Deluxe equipment lists include an iPad. That is a coverage statement, not a topology, and no pod is stated to be without a signal. Nothing is published about wired data, access point placement, shielded cabling, field measurement in sleeping areas or an option to switch wireless off. On materials, mattress and linen composition and certification are not published, and the Suite Zen equipment list names a futon bed without stating its materials. The pods are published as built by Pacific Domes, which names the maker of the structure without specifying the shell beyond recycled plastic covers. On food, no on site growing, cooking oil policy or additive position is published; the chalet FAQ lists a frying pan, a saucepan and a brazzero as self catering equipment without naming materials, and the restaurant's cookware and kitchen water are not described. Sound and Sensory Ecology has nothing published: no background noise level, acoustic separation or plant noise figure for any pod or cabin, and the 2023 trade press account describing deep silence on the walk up and a seminar group heard across the site is an impression from a visit rather than a measurement. Pod dimensions are published, including a 7 metre diameter, 40 square metres and a 4,3 metre ceiling height. Pathway 07 asks about spatial volume and ceiling height by name, so these are on pathway rather than irrelevant, but a published dimension is not a test result, a laboratory report, a third party verification or a published methodology. They corroborate the cell rather than lifting it to the measured tier.
Other standards held
Useful context. A held standard does not move a pathway score on its own. It moves a score only through the evidence that standard publishes.
Regional context2 public figures about the area, none of which scores
Public data about the surrounding area. None of it contributes to the score, because a property cannot be marked down for the conditions outside it.
- Safely managed drinking water, Switzerland: The World Health Organization reports 97 per cent of the population nationally using a safely managed drinking water service. This describes the country, not this property, and says nothing about what reaches a guest room here. It is recorded because it is the background against which a property's own treatment is worth publishing. Source
- Ambient PM2.5 and PM10 near Les Cerniers, Les Giettes, Valais, Switzerland: Modelled ambient air over this location averaged 6.1 micrograms per cubic metre of PM2.5 and 9.5 of PM10 across the 720 hours to 2026-08-17, peaking at 11.1 PM2.5. The World Health Organization annual guideline for PM2.5 is 5. This is the outdoor air over the area, modelled rather than measured on site, and it is not a reading of the air inside any room. Source
Not published is not unsafehow to read these scores, and what this index does not promise
A low score means a property has not published information. It does not mean the property is unsafe, unhealthy or poorly run.
These scores measure disclosure. These scores describe disclosure, not property quality. This index has no commercial relationship with the properties listed unless a badge on the listing says otherwise.
Conditions change, and we will not always know. Every record is a snapshot of what a property had published when we read it, and that date is on the page. Conditions change: a property can refit, change suppliers or replace a system at any time, and nothing requires it to tell us. We re-read records and ask properties directly for updates, but there will always be a gap between what is true today and what was published when we looked. Use this as a frame of reference for what to ask, not as a substitute for asking. Take your own questions to the property before you book, and tell us if you find something we have wrong.
We report what properties publish. We do not inspect, certify or vouch for any property on this index unless a listing says we assessed it on site, and we accept no responsibility for decisions made or outcomes experienced on the basis of what you read here.
